Working as a freelance artist for the last three years has allowed me to gain insight into how projects evolve, both from the position of a creative director and a specialist. Understanding and managing these projects have taught me to pay attention to every single individual involved, so that the unique strengths of these individuals contribute to the project level, as well as to the art community as a whole. For example, when managing large projects that include corporate paintings to underprivileged elementary school murals, I always have a blueprint to follow. I find myself constantly considering the social blue print as well, that is needed to achieve success with the entire team. This team is all inclusive- everyone involved is valued as having a unique contribution.
Incredible experiences emerge through meeting, communicating and problem solving with others. My art and creative ways of thinking are a privilege that I do not take for granted.
