Elementary Education, Bank Street School for Children
The work below highlights some of the lessons that I taught during my time as a student-teacher at Bank Street School for Children (2017-2018). During my time at Bank Street I was able to develop, teach, and assess student learning from preschool (3/4s) through 3rd grade (7/8s). Through this experience I was able to shape and strengthen my developmental framework around creating student-centered art making activities that built on a repertoire of systems and strategies for visual meaning-making for children.
